Launch of New County of Bruce Website

REDEVELOPED COUNTY OF BRUCE WEBSITE

Walkerton, ON - The Corporation of the County of Bruce will officially be launching their new website on Thursday, October 13th 2011. The site provides new functionality, such as; enhanced navigation and quick links, making pages and information easier for the user to locate.

The County is especially proud of the custom tender module which will automate the bids and tender process, allowing users to register with the system to track and receive information updates via email on potential tenders they're interested in. The County invites vendors to explore this new feature by creating a free account and selecting their categories of interest. (http://www.brucecounty.on.ca/business/bids-and-tenders.php)

The improved website also includes a searchable staff directory, integration with Google maps for office location and directions, a more extensive internal search engine, dynamic news system, RSS feeds for employment opportunities and news, and a online resume submission system for employment opportunities.
