Gateway Haven is a 100 bed municipal home for the aged overlooking Colpoy's Bay in Wiarton and has been in operation since 1968. The Home was completely rebuilt in 2003. Like its sister home in Walkerton, Gateway Haven prides itself on the provision of resident focused care to the frail elderly, dedicated to teamwork and education. The Home contains 44 private, 16 semi-private and 40 basic accommodation rooms. Rooms are completely furnished, but you may have space for a small side table or another chair. We encourage you to bring in pictures, ornaments, your own bedspread if you wish or any other treasures that space allows.
