When an employment vacancy arises, an advertisement is placed in the appropriate local newspapers. If the vacancy is for a unionized position, it will be posted internally first, and if there is no suitable candidate, the position will then be advertised in the newspapers. Resumes are kept on file for 6 months. Applications submitted electronically must be in Microsoft Word format.

Located in the Administration Building in Walkerton, HR supports managers, supervisors and employees in effectively delivering public services.
