The Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre features an extensive history of Bruce County and all it entails.  From storms creating shipwrecks to lighthouses and their keepers; there is no end to what you will see and learn when it comes to Marine Heritage. 

The Bruce County Archives contains the collective memory of Bruce County. The Archives consists of Personal Papers, Municipal Records, Education Records, Business Records, Organizational Records and Multimedia Collections. These records are kept on mobile shelving units, many within acid free storage containers.

Our mandate is to preserve and make available the documentary heritage of Bruce County. In the Reading Room, visitors can research numerous Bruce County related topics, starting with the reference material in the research area and moving on to archival material.

The BCM&CC also offers adult and children's programming, facility rental for the general public, meeting rooms and a wonderful gift shop.  One visit will have you buying a membership; and don’t forget you can also use your membership at Grey Roots Museum & Archives in Owen Sound!
