    <title>Truck Driver/Labourer - Highways</title>

    <description><![CDATA[ <p>The Corporation of the County of Bruce requires a Truck Driver/Labourer.&nbsp; Working out of the Lucknow Shop, this full time position involves general equipment operation and labour duties in the summer as well as operating snow plows/sanders in the winter months.&nbsp; Shift work will be required in the winter months (November &ndash; April). &nbsp;The successful candidate must be reliable, able to work independently, and able to respond to call-ins within a reasonable period of time.</p>
<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;<br /><br />Minimum Grade 12 education<br />DZ licence required<br />Clean, safe driving record (recent driver&rsquo;s abstract will be required)<br />Experience driving in adverse winter conditions<br />Experience driving a plow/sander unit<br />Experience operating a loader<br />Must be able to report to the job site within approximately thirty (30) minutes of the call-out<br />Physically able to perform manual labour tasks, including heavy&nbsp;lifting (up to 50 lbs), and work in confined spaces</p>

    <title>Library Clerk - Library</title>

    <description><![CDATA[ <p>The
Bruce County Public Library requires a Casual Part-time Library Clerk to work
in the <strong>Walkerton branch.</strong>&nbsp; The successful candidate will not have
regularly scheduled hours.&nbsp;&nbsp; The
incumbent will also have the opportunity to accept shifts in surrounding
branches to provide relief staffing for vacation and sick time of scheduled
employees.&nbsp; Hours may include evenings
and weekends.&nbsp; Duties will include
circulation of materials, collection maintenance, information services,
reader&rsquo;s advisory and library programming.</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Minimum grade
     12 education</li>
<li>Superior
     interpersonal, communication and organization skills</li>
<li>Excellent
     computer skills</li>
<li>Strong
     ability to successfully multitask in a busy environment</li>

    <title>Director of Care, Wiarton - Gateway Haven</title>

    <description><![CDATA[ <p>Come and be a part of the Gateway Haven management team and enjoy life on the beautiful Bruce Peninsula!&nbsp; We occupy a completely rebuilt 100 bed Long Term Care Home (completed in 2003) which overlooks beautiful Colpoy&rsquo;s Bay.&nbsp; The Director of Care, reporting to the Administrator, supervises all Nursing staff in a unionized environment.&nbsp; The Director&rsquo;s primary function is the provision, coordination, implementation, and supervision of the entire spectrum of resident-focused care, in order to ensure quality of life for all residents. &nbsp;Employees use PointClickCare software, inclusive of Point of Care and eMAR, through a state of the art wireless documentation system. Proven abilities to develop and manage a budget, analyze and resolve problems and to make decisions are important.&nbsp; Strong communication and team-building skills are essential for success in this position.</p>
<p>The Director of Care should demonstrate:</p>
<ul>
<li>an understanding of Best Practices as they apply to Long Term Care, </li>
<li>an understanding of the Long Term Care Homes Act 2007, and other applicable legislation,</li>
<li>an understanding of Public Reporting through CIHI</li>
<li>an understanding of continuous quality improvement through the Residents&rsquo; First Initiative</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Current CNO registration</li>
<li>Five years experience as an Registered Nurse</li>
<li>Three years supervisory experience in a Geriatric, Rehabilitation, or LTC facility, preferably in a unionized environment</li>
<li>Strong computer skills</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Assets</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Post-graduate studies in Geriatrics and/or Nursing Administration</li>
<li>Experience with PointClickCare &ndash; LTC software </li>
</ul>
