Welcome to the Bruce County Public Library homepage! We want to tell you who we are and what we do. So come on in and take a look. You may find a whole new universe!
Over a Century of Service
The Bruce County Public Library system is comprised of 18 branches and Headquarters. In depth reference and information is available at Headquarters.
The County Library was formed in 1967, but libraries have been in existence in the County since the late 1800's. As a matter of fact our most picturesque branch is still located in a log cabin!
In the 1940's the Library Co-operative was formed , recognizing that partnerships and sharing of resources was the way of the future, as it continues to be today. We serve the entire County of Bruce, as well as bordering communities in Grey County.
What We Offer
The Bruce County Public Library offers books, videos, talking books, books on tape, music CD's, public use computers, access to the internet, reference CD's, business information, in-depth reference and information retrieval. We also have a variety of adult and children's programming through branches and Headquarters.
