At the time of the interview the following documentation must be provided:

 

  • Copy of Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma
  • Copy of diploma for paramedicine from an approved Ontario Post Secondary institution or a letter confirming completion of the Ontario Equivalency process.
  • Copy of the A-EMCA certificate.
  • Copy of a valid class F drivers license.
  • Proof of immunization against Diphtheria, Poliomyelitis, Measles, Mumps, Rubella & Chicken Pox.
  • Proof of current immunization for Tetanus.
  • Copy of current CPR
  • Confirmation of completion of all Ministry of Health Mandatory Training Programs.
  • Copy of Certification from an Ontario Base Hospital.
  • Proof of a physical agility evaluation (PAE) within 90 days . 

Applications will be reviewed and successful applicants will be invited for an interview, pre-employment exam and patient and practical skills demonstration.

 Successful applicants must complete a criminal records and drivers license check prior to employment.
