Volunteer Services - Brucelea Haven
Our residents and staff enjoy working with the volunteers that we currently have with us and are always eager to welcome new, friendly faces. We hope that the time you spend here is both pleasurable and rewarding. As a volunteer, you are joining a team of professionals who are dedicated to the mental and physical well being of the residents. Your willingness to help us achieve this goal is truly appreciated. To ensure the safety of our residents, all volunteers are required to have a police records screening prior to begining duties within the home.
Volunteers have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others. You can help our seniors in countless ways including:
- Driving Residents to appointments
- Accompanying staff on a Bus trip
- Drive Our Bus (must have a valid F license)
- 1-1 Friendly Visits
- Group Visits
- Assisting Residents to Programs
- Assisting with various activities throughout the home
- Entertaining musically
- Assisting with special events
- Assisting with meal services
- Assisting with religious programs
- Providing Palliative Care
