Opportunities To Volunteer

Volunteers are an essential part of our home and family at Gateway Haven.  Opportunities for assistance are:

  • One to one visits
  •  Walking (inside and outside)
  • Trips (bus trips for shopping, special outings)
  • Assisting residents to Restorative Care/Physio Therapy
  • Transporting residents to Hairdressing (Tuesday & Thursday am)
  • Bingo Helper
  • Spa days
  • Reading and Writing Friend
  • Crafts, Arts, Scrap booking, baking
  • Music (would you like to play for residents?)
  • Gardening
  • Sunday Church Helper (transporting back and forth)
