The Dr. Albert Rose Bursary Program
The Dr. Albert Rose Bursary Program is one-time financial assistance (bursary) for post-secondary education that is available to all tenants living in rent-geared-to-income housing in Ontario. Dr. Rose dedicated his life to education and social housing and his vision continues to assist our community through this program. For more information, go to www.ontario.ca/rose
The Kathleen Blinkhorn Aboriginal Student Scholarship Fund
Please see below a new scholarship fund for aboriginal students attending post secondary school.
Need Money for School?
To be eligible for $1000-$2500 in scholarship money, you must meet the following criteria:
- Aboriginal student who currently lives in non-profit housing in Ontario
- Enrolled in a recognized college or university, or private trade school
- Full-time or part-time (60%) course load
If you meet the criteria, you may access an application form from the Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association's website: www.onpha.on.ca or under the Downloads section of this webpage.
Registered Education Savings Plan
The Canada Learning Bond (CLB) program contributes a bond to Registered Education Savings Plans opened by families receiving the National Child Benefit Supplement under the Canada Revenue Agency's Canada Child Tax Benefit program.
