Traffic Calming Measures Throughout Bruce County

Please take notice that Bruce County Transportation and Environmental Services will be implementing traffic calming measures in designated locations throughout the County. These traffic calming measures will include Vertical Centreline Treatment Devices placed in the centre of the roadway. Please proceed with caution through these designated areas and follow the posted speed limit.

Communities that will benefit from this initiative are as follows:

• Barrow Bay
• Burgoyne
• Dobbinton
• Eden Grove
• Lions Head
• Formosa
• Glammis
• Mildmay 6E (Absalom St W)
• Paisley on Bruce Road 1 and Bruce Road 11
• Invermay
• Colpoys Bay
• Bruce Road 22

The Vertical Centreline Treatment Devices create a narrowing effect and a median on the road. The devices are designed to flex under large equipment if necessary at low speeds.
