Get Involved

A public and transparent planning process based on professional input and clearly defined outcomes gives everyone involved the opportunity to contribute to our recommendations while helping elected officials make great decisions.
People at table

As professional planners, our job is to help elected leaders and the public we serve make great decisions.

We do that with deep research; evidence-based recommendations; and access to best practices in similar situations from around the world. Most importantly, we include the input of our stakeholders. That would be you-the public, individuals, communities, and our business leaders.

Have your say about development applications that impact you.

  • Be aware of what’s happening in your community

  • Attend public meetings, where decisions are made on planning applications

  • Stay up to date on active applications

How to Best Voice Your Opinion

To best address any of your questions or concerns, it is recommended that you submit your comments in writing to your local Land Use Planning Office early during the public notice period. This will allow time for Bruce County planners to address your comments regarding an application.
