  • Council approved the Bruce County Official Plan Amendment Application C-2022-016 for Barry’s Construction and Insulation Ltd., for lands described as Part Lots 18 &19, Concession 2 (Amabel) in the Township of South Bruce Peninsula. Council authorized staff to grant draft approval to Plan of Subdivision file S-2022-030. Report
  • Council referred back to staff to review and renegotiate the terms of reference on a proposal to join the Southwestern Ontario Isotope Coalition as a Regional Collaborative Partner. Report
  • Council approved the 2024 Financial Management Cycle and 2025 Budget and Annual Business Plan Timeline. October 10 and November 7 will be reserved to receive the 2025 Annual Business Plans and Operational and Capital Budgets. Report
  • Council approved that the Director of Long-Term Care and Director of Human Resources be directed to recruit one full-time, permanent Nurse Practitioner for Gateway Haven Long-Term Care Home and apply for the funding “Hiring-More Nurse Practitioners for Long-Term Care Homes Funding Policy” to offset compensation costs.   • Council approved that the items listed in the “Collections Deaccession Report for March 2024” be approved for deaccession from the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre’s collection. Report
  • Council approved that a by-law be introduced authorizing the Warden and Clerk to execute a 5-year Commercial Lease Agreement for the “Lindsay Tract Shop” at 4025 Highway 6, Miller Lake, Ontario between Bruce County and the Central Peninsula Sno-Drifters Snowmobile Club. Report
  • Council referred back to staff to review RFP options for a proposed 10-year Bruce County Forest Inventory of Bruce County owned forests. Report
  • Council approved that Service Manager consent to discharge the mortgage for 5 Railway Street, South Bruce be granted to Bruce County Housing Corporation. Report
  • Council approved a by-law to adopt the property tax estimates, tax ratios and tax rates for the Year 2024. By-law
