Home Repair Program

The Home Repair program is designed to improve the living conditions and provide financial assistance to homes needing safety, energy-efficiency and/or accessibility upgrades.

The Home Repair program is designed to improve the living conditions and provide financial assistance to homes needing safety, energy-efficiency and/or accessibility upgrades. This program is available to residents with an annual income of $75,000 or less who own a home in Bruce County with a market value of $340,000 or less.

The Home Repair Program provides up to $15,000 in the form of a 10 year forgivable loan. Households needing accessibility upgrades may receive a grant of up to $5,000.
