Home Repair Program

The Home Repair program is designed to improve the living conditions and provide financial assistance to homes needing safety, energy-efficiency and/or accessibility upgrades.

Our offices are now closed to the public. Programs and services will continue virtually with most services being provided by phone, fax, and email. We are currently out of funds but will keep applications on file.

The Home Repair program is designed to improve the living conditions and provide financial assistance to homes needing safety, energy-efficiency and/or accessibility upgrades. This program is available to residents with an annual income of $75,000 or less who own a home in Bruce County with a market value of $340,000 or less.

The Home Repair Program provides up to $15,000 in the form of a 10 year forgivable loan. Households needing accessibility upgrades may receive a grant of up to $5,000.
