Home Repair and Home Ownership Programs
The Home Repair Program is designed to improve living conditions and provide financial assistance through a 10-year forgivable loan. Safety and energy efficiency upgrades can receive up to $15,000. Accessibility upgrades can receive up to $5,000.
- You must be a homeowner in Bruce County
- You must have a household income of $75,000 or less
- Your home’s market value must be $340,000 or less

The Home Ownership Program can provide a 5% down payment to new homeowners through a 20-year forgivable loan.
- You must be purchasing a home in Bruce County
- You must have a household income of $116,000 or less
- The home’s value must be $399,000 or less
