Inaugural Meeting
- Mayor Luke Charbonneau (Town of Saugeen Shores) was acclaimed as the 2025 Bruce County Warden. Warden Charbonneau took the Oath of Office, and was presented with the Chain of Office by Past Warden Chris Peabody and the Warden's Pin by CAO Christine MacDonald.
- Mayor Don Murray (Township of Huron-Kinloss) was acclaimed as the 2025 Bruce County Deputy Warden. Deputy Warden Murray took the Oath of Office, and was presented with the Deputy Warden's Pin by CAO Christine MacDonald.
Bruce County Council Meeting
- Council received a presentation from James Scongack, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice-President Bruce Power. Bruce Power pledged $1mil to support affordable housing initiatives in Bruce County and recognized the service of Past Warden Chris Peabody.
- Council received a presentation from Stephanie Keating, Director of Environment, Nuclear Innovation Institute on The Climate Project. Presentation
- Council received the December 2024 Museum Information Report. Report
- Council directed staff to prepare the application for Bruce County to join the Ontario Food Cluster in 2025. Council authorize staff travel out-of-province as required, within approved budgets for activities related to the Ontario Food Cluster. Report
- Council approved By-law 2024-068, a by-law to adopt an Investment Policy for Bruce County to Provide Guidelines for the Investment of County Funds Not Required for Immediate Use. By-law
- Council approved By-law 2024-069, a by-law to Amend By-law 2023-048, Respecting County-Wide Development Charges for Bruce County. By-law
- Council approved By-law 2024-070, a by-law to adopt a Multi-Year Accessibility Plan for Bruce County. By-law
- Council received communication from the Municipality of Brockton on Court Security and Prisoner Transportation Costs. Communication
- Council received communication from the Town of South Bruce Peninsula on Road Level of Service and Jurisdiction Request from Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation. Communication
- Council received communication from the Town of South Bruce Peninsula with a Request for Additional Time to Comment to Official Plan. Communication
