Notice of Passing of County-wide Development Charges By-law

Please take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the County of Bruce passed a county-wide development charges Amending By-law No. 2024-069. This By-law amends county-wide Development Charges By-law 2023-48. This Amending By-law was passed on the 5th day of December, 2024 under section 2 (1) of the Development Charges Act, 1997, S.O., 1997 c. 27, as amended; and comes into effect on January 1, 2025.

This Amending By-law adds development charges for Growth-related studies as provided in the table below.

Effective January 1, 2025, the schedule of development charges imposed by By-law 2023-48 and Amending By-law 2024-069 is as follows (note, these charges are phased-in as per section 3.14 of By-law No. 2023-048):
