Bruce County Warden Receives Community Leadership Award at the Canadian Nuclear Association Conference

At the 2024 Canadian Nuclear Association conference, Bruce County Warden Chris Peabody was presented with the Community Leadership Award from Bruce Power on Thursday, February 29.

At the 2024 Canadian Nuclear Association conference, Bruce County Warden Chris Peabody was presented with the Community Leadership Award from Bruce Power on Thursday, February 29.

The Community Leadership Award is in recognition for exceptional service to communities in the Grey, Bruce, and Huron Region. This award recognizes leaders who exemplify the qualities of collaboration, communication, and clear vision and have made a significant and positive impact to the region.

Warden Peabody was presented this award along with award recipients Glen McNeil (Huron County Warden) and Brian Milne (Grey County Warden).

“I am proud to accept Bruce Power's Community Leadership Award to recognize the role Bruce County plays in supporting the creation of clean and reliable energy. The energy produced in Bruce County is critical to fuel economic growth locally, and across Ontario," said Warden Chris Peabody. "Through the Clean Energy Frontier, we appreciate the partnership and collaboration of Huron and Grey County, Bruce Power, and the Nuclear Innovation Institute to promote and realize opportunities to create clean energy in our region".
