Bruce County Council Meeting

  • Council received a report from Corporate Services on 2024 Insurance and Risk. Report
  • Council received a report from Corporate Services on the 2023 Audit Plan. Report
  • Council received a report from Planning & Development on the Redside Dace Recovery Strategy Action Plan. Report
  • Council approved the reallocation of $26,500 from the Business Sustainability Loan, left unspent on the Transit Demand & Feasibility Study, to fund 50% of Grey Transit Route 5 from Wiarton to Owen Sound for the remainder of 2024. Report
  • Council approved that a by-law be introduced to appoint the Bruce County Environmental Services Supervisor and Environmental Services Technician as the Area Weed Inspectors for Bruce County. Report
  • Council approved the Town of South Bruce Peninsula Official Plan Amendment Application L-2022-018 for Barry’s Construction and Insulation Ltd., for lands described as Part Lots 18 &19, Concession 2 (Amabel) in the Township of South Bruce Peninsula. Council approved that the Director of Planning and Development be authorized to sign the decision sheet. Report
  • Council approved that a by-law be introduced authorizing the Warden and Clerk to execute a five-year agreement with the Ontario Federation of Trail Riders. Report
  • Council approved By-law 2024-019, a by-law to authorize a Lease Agreement between Bruce County and the Central Peninsula Sno-Drifters Snowmobile Club to lease the Lindsay Tract building at the 4025 Highway 6. By-law
