Holiday Closure Reminder: April 18 and April 21

The Easter holiday is just around the corner, with Good Friday on April 18 and Easter Monday on April 21. Some Bruce County services and operations will be affected on these days.

Bruce County reminds you of the following operating hours for the Easter holiday weekend. 

Support and Services: The Bruce County Administration Centre in Walkerton, the Lakeshore Hub in Port Elgin, the Peninsula Hub in Wiarton, and the Penetangore Hub in Kincardine are closed Friday, April 18 (Good Friday) and Monday, April 21 (Easter Monday). Virtual and in-person service will be available again on Tuesday, April 22 at 8:30 a.m. 

Libraries: Bruce County Public Library Branches are closed on Friday, April 18, Sunday, April 20, and Monday, April 21. Library Branches are open for regular hours on Saturday, April 19. Online resources are available 24/7 at http://www.library.brucecounty.on.ca

Museum: The Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre is open on Saturday, April 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and closed on Friday, April 18, Sunday, April 20 and Monday, April 21. The Museum Archives is open on Saturday, April 19 from 10 a.m. to noon, and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and is closed on Friday, April 18, Sunday, April 20, and Monday, April 21.  

Children’s Services: EarlyON child and family programming is closed from Friday, April 18 to Monday, April 21. Discover more about EarlyON programming, including program schedules

If you are a tenant of Bruce County Housing Corporation and have a maintenance emergency, please call 1-800-265-3022. 

For essential services, please call 211 to assist with accessing community services and support. The service is 24/7 and language interpretation is available.
