Weight/Load Restrictions will be in effect on several Bruce County Roads

Bruce County Transportation & Environment Services Department will place weight/load restrictions of 5 tonne per axle on several County roads until further notice.

Effective February 26, 2025, Bruce County Transportation & Environmental Services Department will place weight/load restrictions of 5 tonne per axle on several County roads until further notice.  Please refer to the Weight Load Restrictions Map.pdf to verify the impacted Bruce County roads.

Bruce County staff have implemented road weight/load restrictions to protect the integrity of our road infrastructure. During spring thaw, roads are susceptible to damage and the reduction of axle-weights helps preserve the life span of Bruce County roads.
