You may notice new pavement markings and flexible devices down the center of County roads throughout Bruce County. These traffic calming measures are installed during warmer months to help slow traffic and improve safety in our communities.

What You'll See:

  • Special pavement markings that create visual effects to guide traffic flow
  • Vertical centerline devices placed in the center of roadways that create a narrowing and median effect. These devices flex at low speeds when necessary

Where You'll See Them: These safety measures are being implemented in communities including Arkwright, Barrow Bay, Burgoyne, Dobbinton, Eden Grove, Lions Head, Formosa, Glammis, Mildmay, Paisley, Invermay, Colpoys Bay, and on Bruce Road 3 and Bruce Road 22

Drive Safely: Please use extra caution when encountering these traffic calming measures and always follow posted speed limits.

These devices are designed to make our roads safer for everyone.

Thank you for helping keep Bruce County roads safe.
