Flags Lowered in Honour of Walkerton Community Tragedy
Our community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of four students and a staff member from Walkerton District Community School, who tragically lost their lives in a motor vehicle accident on May 23, 2025.
In honour of the lives lost and in shared grief with their families, friends, teammates, classmates and the entire community, flags at all Bruce County facilities have been lowered to half-mast.
This is a tragedy that deeply affects our close-knit community. We extend our sincere condolences during this profoundly difficult time.
We encourage the community to come together with compassion and care to support one another.
