Bruce County offices and remote services are closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in honour of Remembrance Day.
We are also lowering the flags at our administration centres across the County to half-mast in respect of Remembrance Day on November 11.
Remembrance Day and Veterans’ Week is a time to respect, reflect and remember. From November 5 to 11, we encourage you to commemorate Remembrance Day and Veterans’ Week in a way that is meaningful to you.

Operating hours for Tuesday, November 11, 2025:
Support and Services: The Bruce County Administration Centre in Walkerton, the Lakeshore Hub in Port Elgin, the Peninsula Hub in Wiarton, and the Penetangore Hub in Kincardine will close for the day. Virtual and in-person service at these locations will resume on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 8:30 a.m.
Libraries: Bruce County Public Library Branches will close for the day and reopen for regular hours on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
Online resources are available 24/7 at http://www.library.brucecounty.on.ca.
Museum: The Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre and Museum Archives will close for the day and will reopen for regular hours on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
Human Services: There is no EarlyON child and family programming on Tuesday, November 11. Discover more about EarlyON programming, including program schedules.
