Ceasing Winter Maintenance Operations - January 23, 2026

Bruce County plows will cease operations today, Friday, January 23, 2026, at 6 p.m. due to unsafe weather conditions on County roadways.

This will bring all winter maintenance activities on County roads to a full stop until further notice. 

There are currently numerous road closures by police order within Bruce County. Driving on a roadway closed by police order is against the law and puts you, your passengers, and others at risk. Abandoned vehicles are subject to towing at owner’s expense and to possible fines.

Please stay home and stay safe.
