Localized Flooding on Bruce County Roads - March 13, 2026
Some roadways across Bruce County continue to experience flooding due to recent heavy rains and a swiftly melting snowpack.
Some Bruce County roadways continue to experience flooding due to recent heavy rains and a swiftly melting snowpack. We encourage those travelling:
- To slow down.
- To activate your entire lighting system.
- To be prepared for possible detours due to road closures.
- Use extreme caution if you come across flooded roadways while travelling.
- To be aware that fast moving and deep water may also sweep vehicles of roadways.
- That we do not recommend crossing flooded sections of a road as the soil underneath may be saturated and become unstable.
Our Operations Crews are responding to areas with localized flooding affecting road conditions. We are working closely with OPP to address issues as they arise.
We’re expecting water levels to recede significantly over the next 48 to 72 hours, but please continue to use caution near waterways and flooded areas. Keep children and pets away. The fast-flowing, cold conditions are dangerous.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation.
