Strategic Community Initiatives Fund

The Strategic Community Initiatives Fund is designed to support community-based projects that enhance and complement the core services of the Human Services Department.

Through this fund, Bruce County Human Services continues its commitment to assisting low-income households and fostering meaningful, long-term benefits for residents across the county.

Am I eligible?

Initiatives receiving funding will:

• Complement the core services of the Human Services Department
• Address gaps in services and/or unmet needs of low-income residents
• Be based on best practices and/or research
• Not duplicate existing resources

How do I apply?

Organizations seeking Strategic Community Initiatives Funding for 2026 are requested to submit a proposal, no more than three pages, for consideration. Proposals may be submitted by email, fax, or mail and must be received by February 20, 2026. Click here to learn about the granting process.
