Who do you call?

YMCA Rural Housing & Homelessness Outreach works to prevent, address, and reduce homelessness in our community. Outreach Workers also visit known encampments to deliver basic supplies such as water, snacks, socks, mitts, and sanitation supplies. Call 519-371-9222 to make an appointment, or 211 for after-hours support.

211 – Afterhours Emergency Shelter support in Bruce and Grey County and connects to community resources such as meal programs and food banks, 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.

Bruce County Human Services – Income supports, rent-geared-to-income housing, help with rental/utility arrears, first/last months rent, and moving expenses. 1-800-265-3022

911 – if someone is in serious distress or in case of emergency.
