Extreme heat events can also be called heat waves and involve high temperatures often accompanied by high humidity. Extreme heat events are a growing public health risk and are getting longer with more intense heat.

Please take notice that the Bruce County Administration Centre in Walkerton, the Lakeshore Hub in Port Elgin, the Peninsula Hub in Wiarton, and the Penetangore Hub in Kincardine will be closed from Saturday, June 29 to Monday, July 1 (Canada Day Long Weekend). Bruce County Public Library is excited to announce the move of its well-loved Paisley Branch. The Branch will relocate to a bright and fully accessible location within the Paisley Community Centre, located at 391 Queen St. West. The new space allows BCPL to offer an enhanced library experience for all patrons, including a designated Children’s area and a fresh collection of titles.
