If you are looking for information about a property including what it is designated or zoned, you can locate the property, planning maps, and zoning using public maps available here

Planning policies are found in Official Plans; listings of permitted uses and provisions including things like parking requirements, setbacks, height and lot coverage are outlined in zoning by-laws.

The Bruce County Official Plan covers the entire county and is online here.

Each of the 8 municipalities within Bruce County have their own Official Plan and Zoning By-law, which you can find by clicking on the Municipality on the list at the right side of this page.

If you need help to understand the permitted uses or provisions of a municipality’s zoning by-law, please reach out directly to the building department at the local municipality.
