Community Housing Development Eastridge Road, Walkerton

Bruce County Housing Corporation (BCHC) is planning a new residential development in Walkerton on 1.5 acres of land along Eastridge Road.

A proposed 41-unit apartment-style project will include a mix of affordable and market rate homes. This will help diversify the local housing supply and provide more options for people at different life stages.

The development will feature a range of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. Its design will complement the character of the surrounding neighbourhood. Building on the success of BCHC’s most recent development, Penetangore Place in Kincardine, this project in Brockton will reflect Bruce County’s commitment to thoughtful design, affordability, and sustainable housing. 

Building Inclusive, Affordable Housing

This development will offer rental rates that are affordable for moderate income households. This is a vital step toward addressing housing needs for workers in health care, skilled trades, child care, service industries, and other essential sectors.

Tenants will be selected from the County’s Housing Waitlist. You can apply for County by applying online or by downloading the application and emailing it to our Human Services team. You can also visit one of our Human Services office locations.
