Bruce Road 25 and Bruce Road 33 Master Plan

The County and the Town of Saugeen Shores completed a Master Plan for Roads and Drainage for Bruce Road 25 and 33 in May 2017.

The reconstruction of Bruce Road 25 (Phase 1) was completed in 2019, (Phase 2) was completed in 2020 and (Phase 3) was completed in 2021. It is intended that a roundabout will be constructed during (Phase 4), which has been delayed until property acquisitions can be completed.

With hundreds of kilometers of coastline and trails, Bruce County boasts an unique natural environment that is worth protecting. The county plays a major role in both promoting and providing stewardship of the many natural assets that can be found within its borders.
Museum by the Numbers

The Bruce County Museum was established in 1955 and had 200 donations in the first year including the first one ever being the town bell of Southampton. Today there are close to 20,000 objects in the collections of the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre.
