The County of Bruce is undertaking a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment for the West Road to determine the future needs for road maintenance and capital improvements. West Road is a 29km road section between Oliphant (Bruce Road 13) and the Ferndale Road (Bruce Road 9) in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula and Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula.
