The Bruce County Rail Trail will be closed between Sideroad 40 and Sideroad 45 in South Bruce from Monday, November 6, 2023 to Thursday, November 9, 2023 for the development of a parking area within the trail corridor adjacent to Sideroad 40. This new parking area will provide staging for vehicles and trailers at the south end of the Bruce County Rail Trail.

Bruce County and the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie are excited to invite the public to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, November 3 at 2:00 PM to celebrate the grand opening of the new Paisley Bridge. A short ceremony will take place on the north side of the Paisley Bridge, followed by a procession across the bridge.

Trail users in Bruce County are reminded that long gun (rifle) season for deer hunting is Monday, November 6 to Sunday, November 12. Hunters and recreational users should take steps to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Everyone using County forests must ensure they are visible and must be aware that others may be nearby.
