As the Winter season arrives in Bruce County and weather conditions begin to impact roadways, the Bruce County Transportation and Environmental Services Department reminds the traveling public to monitor road and weather conditions on the Bruce County Winter Road Conditions webpage. This one-stop-shop map tool is updated periodically each day through the winter months and as weather warrants.

On Wednesday, November 8, Warden Chris Peabody visited Bruce County’s Gateway Haven Long Term Care Home in Wiarton for a tour and new technology demonstration. Gateway Haven Staff showcased new nursing technology from Jubo, called VitalLink, that works with the home's electronic health record systems.
