Bruce County road construction season underway. Drive safely through work zones.

Bruce County and the Municipality of Brockton will host Evacuation and Reception Centre Training Days in June. This hands-on training will equip municipal staff with the knowledge and tools to activate and operate these centres effectively.

In response to the planned closure of Walkerton District Community School (WDCS) on Monday, June 2, the community has come together to support families impacted by this schedule change. Day Camp (free) for children ages 4-10 years old will be offered through the Town of Hanover and Bruce County.

Join in for a Children’s Health Day on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Saugeen Valley Children’s Safety Village.

Walkerton’s Durham Street Bridge is under construction and commercial trucks are to use alternative truck routes.
