Bruce County Delegates will bring key requests on affordable housing and long term care workforce training to the 2023 Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) Conference in London, Ontario, running from August 20 to August 23, 2023.

Bruce County is happy to announce the launch of a brand new website, InvestInBruce.ca, dedicated to fostering business attraction and investment in the region. The website showcases diverse industries, investment opportunities, and economic development support available within Bruce County. 

Bruce County has been conducting a Transit Demand and Feasibility Study to get input on the need and demand for transit solutions for County residents, workers, students, and visitors.

The Bruce County Public Works Association is offering a scholarship, valued at $1,000, to be presented to an outstanding student in Bruce County enrolled in a program related to public works.

Please take notice that Bruce Road 15, from Sideroad 15 Kincardine to Highway 21 will be closed daily from August 21 to 24, weather permitting, for culvert replacements. 

The Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre is thrilled to announce its forthcoming “Summer Symphony” with world-class musicians performing classical music on Sunday, August 20 from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM in the Museum’s Bruce Power Theatre.

Please take notice that a Multi Sport Race will be taking place in the Wiarton and Colpoy’s Bay area on Saturday, August 12, 2023. The event will run from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

On Saturday, August 12, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, all Kincardine residents and ratepayers will receive free admission to the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre as part of Kincardine Community Days.

Please take notice that the Bruce County Administration Centre in Walkerton, the Lakeshore Hub in Port Elgin, the Peninsula Hub in Wiarton, and the Penetangore Hub in Kincardine will be closed from Saturday, August 5 to Monday, August 7 (Civic Holiday Long Weekend). Virtual customer service and in-person service will be available again on Tuesday, August 8 at 8:30 AM.
