Bruce County's Lakeshore Hub is closed temporarily.

A campaign educating young drivers against cannabis-impaired driving launches this weekend on social media and through education at local police-conducted RIDE Programs, cannabis dispensaries and various organizations across the region.

Victoria Day long weekend is almost here! Bruce County administration and services will have adjusted hours for the long weekend.

Bruce County is proud to recognize and celebrate the extraordinary dedication of our healthcare workers during National Nursing Week (May 12 to 18, 2025) and Personal Support Worker Day (May 19, 2025).

Georgian College in Owen Sound offers a full-time, in-person Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma program. Plus, a bursary is available to eligible, local students. And Fanshawe College offers an Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma program from a satellite campus situated in Port Elgin. In addition, financial support is available for local students.

The Adopt-a-Highway Program is a community-driven initiative, empowering volunteers to help keep our County roads clean. This program offers a meaningful way to contribute to a cleaner, healthier environment by removing litter from roadways.

A third-party contractor will be completing line painting operations on Bruce County Roads for the 2025 season during the months of May and June. Please obey all signage and warning signs to keep your vehicles clean and clear of all roadway paint.

The Durham Street Bridge in Walkerton will be fully closed from 10 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2025, until 4 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20.
