Bruce County Council Meeting

Bruce County Council approved:

  • A by-law to appoint a Clerk for Bruce County.
  • A by-law to adopt Amendment Number C-2021-008 to the Bruce County Official Plan.
  • A by-law to authorize the execution of a Memorandum of Understanding between Bruce County and the Municipal Innovation Council.


Delegations

  • Saugeen Valley Children’s Safety Village - Council heard a presentation from Vice President Al Leach.
  • 2023 Tankard Sponsorship - Council heard a presentation from Chair Doug Flowers.


Notice of Motion

  • Council approved a Motion requesting that the federal government pause their target of 30 percent reduction on emissions generated by fertilizer use and encourage the agri-food industry to work together with farmers to find emission reduction solutions through research and innovation and the adoption of best practices.
