Bruce County Council Meeting

Bruce County Council approved:

  • support for the Municipality of Brockton letters to the Ontario Government calling for an increase in support payments offered to individuals on Ontario Works and ODSP and development of additional programs focused on homelessness and drug addiction supports.
  • a by-law to Remove Certain Roads from the County Road System for the purpose of transferring part of the former Bruce Road 6 to the Township of Huron-Kinloss
  • a by-law to Remove Road Widening Lands from the County Road System for the purpose of transferring part of the former Bruce Road 6 to the Township of Huron-Kinloss
  • a by-law to authorize the execution of a Lease Agreement between Bruce County and the Town of South Bruce Peninsula for the Ambulance Station located in Sauble Beach, Ontario


Final Meeting of the 2018 to 2022 Council Term: 

  • Councillor Chris Peabody, who chaired the Council Meeting, thanked all members of the current Council for their service over the past 4 years.
  • The first meeting of Bruce County’s new Council will be on Thursday, December 1, 2022.
