Planning & Development Committee:

  • After a Public Meeting, Committee receives for information the Bruce County Official Plan Amendment C-2022-012 (Growth Management Amendment). Report

Bruce County Council Meeting:

Bruce County Council approved:

  • a by-law to authorize the execution of a Lease Agreement between Bruce County and 392720 Ontario Limited for the Ambulance Station located in Kincardine, ON.
  • a by-law to Appoint Aird & Berlis LLP as Integrity Commissioner for Bruce County.

Museum Committee:

  • Committee approved revisions to the Museum’s Finance Policy. Report
  • Committee received a report on Museum Archives. Report
  • Committee received a report on Museum Education & Outreach. Report
  • Committee received a report on Museum Marketing. Report
  • Committee received a report on Museum Programming. Report
  • Committee received a report on Museum Revenue Development. Report

Human Services Committee:

  • Committee approved the Warden and Clerk to execute a Project Funding Agreement between Bruce County and Bruce County Housing Corporation for the Canada-Ontario Community Housing Initiative’s repair component. Report
  • Committee approved the Warden and Clerk to execute an amendment to the Emergency Response Services Agreement with the Canadian Red Cross to extend the existing agreement to December 31, 2023. Report
  • Committee received a report on the Bruce County Early Childhood Educator and Licensed Home Child Care Provider Recruitment Videos. Report
  • Committee received a report on the Affordable Housing Toolkit Phase Two Launch. Report

Bruce County Housing Corporation: 

  • BCHC approved to delegated to the Chair of the Board and one of the signing officers to execute the Canada Ontario Community Housing Initiative, Project Funding Agreement between Bruce County and the Bruce County Housing Corporation. Report
  • BCHC received a report on the Reinvestment of One Time Surplus Funding. Report

Long Term Care Homes Committee of Management:

  • Committee approved the Memorandum of Understanding between Bruce County and the Town of South Bruce Peninsula for the use of facilities in the event of an emergency and that the Director of Long-Term Care and Senior Service be authorized to develop and sign additional Memorandum of Understandings related to the Emergency Management Plan for Brucelea Haven and Gateway Haven.   • Committee approved the execution of a three-year lease agreement between Bruce County and Home and Community Support Services Grey/Bruce, for rental space at Gateway Haven. Report
  • Committee approved a letter to the Minister of Long-Term Care regarding Staffing Agencies, which will be forwarded to the Minister, local MPPs, and other municipal partners. Report
  • Committee received a Long-Term Care Update Report for August and September 2022. Report

Human Resources Committee:

  • Committee received a report on Long Term Care Recruitment and Retention. Report
