Bruce County Council

  • Bruce County Councillor and Northern Bruce Peninsula Mayor, Milt McIver, was presented with the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Commemorative Coin for his many years of service and leadership in the community and the County. The award was presented by MP Alex Ruff. 

Corporate Services Committee

  • Committee approved that the 2023 Non-Departmental budget be amended to reflect that the capital project ND-2023-002 Interior Hub Parking Lot Expansion & EV Charger Installation be amended to include an additional $15,000 from Non-Departmental Facilities Reserves to account for additional health and safety issues, revised quote for paving, and revised quote for electrical services. Bruce County Housing Corporation

  • Committee received a building update on 308 John St., Walkerton. Report
  • Committee received the Q2 2023 Bruce County Housing Corporation Arrears Report. Report

Human Services Committee

  • Committee received the Q2 2023 Bruce County Community Housing Registry Waitlist Update. Report
  • Committee received the Q2 2023 Income and Support Services Update. Report
  • Committee received the Q2 2023 Licensed Child Care and Early Years Report. Report

Long Term Care Homes Committee of Management

  • Committee received the June and July 2023 Long Term Care Update Report. Report

Museum Committee

  • Committee receives a report on Museum initiatives. Report

Paramedic Services Committee

  • Committee approved that the 2023 Paramedic Services budget be amended to include funding for a generator, keyless entry system, and warning beacon, in the amount of approximately $85,000 to be funded from the Paramedic Services Reserve and that the contractor be awarded the contract for the installation of the generator. Report
  • Committee received an update on the Port Elgin Paramedic Station Build. Report
