NOTICE: Multi Sport Race Using County Roads and Trails near Wiarton and Colpoy's Bay on August 12, 2023

Please take notice that a Multi Sport Race will be taking place in the Wiarton and Colpoy’s Bay area on Saturday, August 12, 2023. The event will run from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Please expect cyclists on roadways heading in both directions north of Wiarton through Colpoy’s Bay to the Bruce Peninsula Mountain Bike Adventure Park following Highway 6, Bruce Road 9, Barfoot Crescent, and Purple Valley Road. Bicycles will also be active in the Mountain Bike Park north of Colpoy's Bay on the designated race route.  

Please expect runners on the trail systems in Colpoy’s Bay, including crossing Bruce Road 9 within the town. 

Motorists and trail users will see athletes, volunteers, and “race in progress” signage along these routes. No road closures or trail closures will be in place. Please be mindful of racers and volunteers on roadways and trails.
