Bruce County Council Meeting

Council approved:

  • a by-law to Remove Certain Roads from the County Road System for the purpose of transferring part of the former Bruce Road 6 to the Township of Huron-Kinloss.
  • a by-law to authorize the execution of a Service Agreement between Westario Power Inc. and Bruce County for the provision of the Ontario Electricity Support Program and Low-Income Energy Assistance Program.
  • a by-law to establish fees and charges for Bruce County.
  • a by-law to require applicants to pre-consult with Bruce County respecting planning matters.

Planning & Development Committee

  • Committee approved Draft Plan of Subdivision S-2022-007 (Easthampton), subject to the Conditions of Draft Approval and Draft Plan. Report
  • Committee approved Draft Plan of Vacant Land Condominium S-2022-023 (Bradstones Developments Inc.), subject to the Conditions of Draft Approval and Draft Plan. Report
  • Committee approved Local Official Plan Amendment L-2023-002 and Bruce County Consent Application B-2023-005 (Slola). Report
  • Committee approved comments to be submitted on behalf of Bruce County Council to the Province of Ontario as additional comments in response to the updated Environmental Registry posting 019-6813. Committee approved that the report of the Director of Planning and Development, dated July 13, 2023, titled Proposed Provincial Planning Statement Natural Heritage Policies and comments be forwarded to local municipalities within the County for their information and consideration.   • Committee directed staff to strike requested school board conditions regarding school capacity and proceed to delegated approval, if all other issues are addressed, for all land division applications in Bruce County. Report

Long Term Care Homes Committee of Management

  • Committee received a report on Long-Term Care Agency Utilization. Report
