Planning & Development Committee

• After a Public Meeting, Committee denied County Official Plan Amendment C-2022-015 for lands describes as CON2 PT LOT 22 RP 3R535 PT; PART 1 Municipality of Kincardine (Bruce Township) to permit a second Additional Residential unit, as the use does not meet the Minimum Distance Separation (MDS I) requirement to the livestock facility on the adjacent farm property. Report
• Committee approved that the attachments to the Provincial Legislative, Regulatory and Policy Proposals related to Land Use Planning – Spring 2023 report be submitted to the Province as Bruce County comments on the respective ERO postings and be shared with local Municipalities. Committee also approved that a copy of the comments on the Proposed 2023 Provincial Policy Statement be circulated to the Premier, Minister of Municipal Affairs, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, local MPPs, the Association of Municipalities of Ontario, and the Western Ontario Warden’s Caucus to be circulated to member municipalities.
