  • Council received a report from the Community Development Office on the 2024-2025 Small Business Enterprise Centre Program Extension. Report

  • Council adopted the County Official Plan Amendment – C-2023-008 Implementation Amendment. The appropriate By-Law will be forwarded to County Council for adoption. Report
  • Council approved support for the efforts of the Bruce County Plowmen’s Association to host the 2026 International Plowing Match in Bruce County and approved start-up funding support of up to $100,000, with the conditions of which being brought back at a future meeting. Report
  • Council approved the 2024 County-wide tax ratios and class discounts and that staff be directed to prepare the necessary tax rates and ratio by-law. Council also approved that the tax relief program for charities and other similar organizations be continued for the 2024 taxation year, that the tax relief program for low-income seniors and low-income persons with disabilities be continued for the 2024 taxation year, and that no Optional Property Classes are recommended.   • Council approved that the capital spending overages outlined in the report for 2023 be allowed to be absorbed in the yearend surplus or deficit as they are immaterial in nature. Report
  • Council approved that the Warden and Councillor Goetz be appointed to the Accessibility Advisory Committee. Council approved that Councillor Craig and Councillor Goetz be appointed to the Community Drug & Alcohol Strategy. Report
  • Council approved a by-law to restrict the weight of vehicles passing over County bridges. By-law
  • Council received communications from the Town of South Bruce Peninsula on their resolution on the Social and Economic Prosperity Review. Communication
