The flags at Bruce County's administration centres have been lowered to half-mast to honour Carman Fullerton, Bruce County's Warden in 1993 (representing the Township of Elderslie), who passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024.

Bruce County is pleased to announce the appointment of Sam Dinsmore as the new Director of Corporate Services, effective June 3, 2024.

Please take notice that Bruce County is holding a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at the Kincardine Public Works Yard located at 140 Valentine Ave., Kincardine, ON. The event will run from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Emergency Preparedness Week is May 5 to May 11. The Bruce County Emergency Management Program encourages all Bruce County residents and visitors to take concrete actions to be better prepared to protect themselves and their families during emergencies.

Please take notice that bridge rehabilitation repairs will be taking place this spring/summer at Sweiger Bridge on Bruce Road 10 North of Chesley, Ontario. Motorists can expect lane closures on the bridge, with traffic control measures in place starting May 6, 2024, and ending in July 2024.

The Municipality of Kincardine, The Municipality of Arran-Elderslie, and Bruce County, won two awards at the OBIAA Awards Gala during the 2024 Annual BIA Conference on April 29, 2024.
