Bruce County Long Term Care and Senior Services showed appreciation for all the students that have recently completed or are completing their co-op and clinical placements at the County’s long term care homes in Walkerton and Wiarton. The County also recognized staff members who shared their knowledge and offered mentorship to the placement students.

The CSWBP Crime Prevention Action Table in partnership with Saugeen Valley Children’s Safety Village and the Rotary Club of Walkerton are pleased to welcome families to a Family Safety Day on Saturday, August 24. The event will focus on teaching children up to age 11 Road Safety through fun and engaging lessons, including driving battery operated child sized cars and scooter riding with police officers!

Bruce County entered a partnership with The Municipality of Kincardine which provided an additional $5,000 of funding to Bruce County’s Child Activity Assistance Program (CAAP). Bruce County will distribute these additional funds to Kincardine families through the Child Activity Assistance Program, a program that supports families across the County.
