Did you know that it is not safe to view the eclipse without proper eye protection? Health impacts may include retinal burns, blurred vision, and loss of eyesight (immediate or delayed onset).

Please take notice that the Bruce County Administration Centre in Walkerton, the Lakeshore Hub in Port Elgin, the Peninsula Hub in Wiarton, and the Penetangore Hub in Kincardine will be closed from Friday, March 29 (Good Friday) to Monday, April 1 (Easter Monday). Virtual customer service and in-person service will be available again on Tuesday, April 2 at 8:30 AM.

Following a wildly successful first year, Bruce County Public Library is excited for the return of its Seed Library program. Starting Tuesday, April 2, Seed Libraries will be available in nine Branches, as well as the Bookmobile.

Bruce County will be hosting thirteen Household Hazardous Waste Collection events in designated locations across the County in 2024.

Bruce County is now recruiting an Employee Health & Labour Relations Manager to lead and support the Employee Health & Labour Relations Division with the County’s Human Resources department.
