Upcoming Bridge Closure and Resurfacing on Bruce Road 6 East

Please take notice that there will be a full closure of Carrick Bridge, on Bruce Road 6 East, between Deemerton and Grey Road 10, starting Monday, May 8 and lasting for approximately 8 weeks. 

Full resurfacing of Bruce Road 6 East from approximately 300m east of Deemerton to George Street in Mildmay will also be taking place during this time. This roadwork will start on May 8 and will be completed in the fall of 2023. 

The section of Bruce Road 6 East described above will remain open to local traffic only and there will be alternate routes and detours established for through-traffic. Signage will be in place. Road users are asked to be patient as the construction crews work to complete these critical upgrades to the roadway and bridge.
